Playacan [sustainable property development, Canada and Mexico]

Current Projects

	Villas Tranquilidad, Playa Del Carmen, Mexico Playacan took this project from an initial idea to land acquisition, through design, permitting, construction, marketing and management. This is a boutique six villa project in an exclusive gated community on the North side of beautiful Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. The project features resort style amenities, roof top patios, three story units of 1620 sq.ft. all located close to the Caribbean Sea.

	Downtown Tulum Playacan has acquired two lots for the development of 20 luxury condominium homes in the beautiful city of Tulum, Mexico. Located adjacent to the famous Tulum ruins and world class beaches, "Downtown Tulum" is going to be the hottest new development in the Mayan Riviera. With a championship gold course, canals, homes sites, commercial areas and condos this low density project is going to be developed with respect for the environment and the unique jungle and beach setting. This is a rare opportunity for condominium ownership in a spectacular location.

	South Calgary Townhomes, Calgary, AB This inner-city Calgary development site was acquired in 2007 for the purpose of constructing a high end town house project featuring 3 storey townhouses with double garages, roof top balconies, city views and luxury finishes through out. The project will be completed for occupancy in late 2008.

	American Apparel, Winnipeg, AB Playacan is in the midst of an exciting retail redevelopment in the heart of Winnipeg, Manitoba. The company acquired an existing night club building in the funky Osborne Village area to do a complete make over to an upscale 12,000 sq.ft. urban retail property. A long term lease has been signed for the entire main floor and basement with North America’s largest “vertically integrated manufacturer” and hip fashion retailer, American Apparel. The renovation is helping to revitalize the area and is the focal point for new generation fashion to take hold in the Village.

	El Taj, Playa Del Carmen, Mexico Playacan, through its’ related Mexican Corporation has acquired the main floor ocean front condo in the new “El Taj Oceanfront”, currently being developed on prime beachfront in Playa del Carmen, Mexico for vacation rental purposes.
